We are using standard phone line.
In astersik-11 MWI light was cleared as soon as I checked the message.
In asterink-13 it takes about 20min to set the light ON and the light
takes over an hour to clear.
What had changed?
In sip.cong

I see 2 issues here :
1 chan_sip is community supported
2 Asterisk 13 only receive security fix and I think the same with version 16
Asterisk 16 has full support until October 2022, although obviously not for chan_sip, which has no official support.
This was filed as a JIRA issue[1] and it was determined to be a configuration issue.
