Asterisk 1.8, DAHDI, EuroISDN and Fritz!Card v2.0 in NL

Hi all. I’m looking for a “how to” on connecting Asterisk 1.8 to an ISDN-2 connection in the Netherlands. Can anyone point me to a step-by-step guide to DAHDI like the one in the Asterisk book for installing and operating Asterisk itself?

I’ve searched the various fora (forums?) and found entries describing how to work with CAPI, mISDN and zaptel, mostly from 2008, but nothing recent to help me to set up DAHDI to talk to my card. Here are my technical details:

ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS – Intel Celeron 2.66 GHz – 32-bit
kernel 3.2.0-34-generic-pae
Asterisk SVN-branch-1.8-r376087
dadhi 2.6.1+2.6.1 – “make config” says "No hardware found"
lspci says "03:02.0 Network controller: AVM GmbH Fritz!PCI v2.0 ISDN (rev 02)"
I guess that I need to provide information to DAHDI about my card.

Thanks in anticipation of some help!

HI, DAHDI only supports Digium Cards and some Clone Cards like OpenVox. You need to contact your vendor to make sure the card its compatible with the DAHDI drivers or if the card need a patch.
