Analog Phone with humming sound

Hello

I have TE110P connected to Channel bank w/ 1-8 FXO and 9-24 FXS channels
early in this morning i have tried calling from SIP xten phone to ananlog phone(channel 9) and its wow very clear, both ends have good sound qualtiy.

but after i’ve remove the commented lines in the zaptel.conf, zapata.conf sip.conf and as well as the extensions.conf thru renaming the original.conf into original.conf.sample and clean commented lines.
(of course i redo “modprobe zaptel” and “modprobe wcte11xp”)
Now i have humming sound in the analog phone it seems some energy is moving into a certain direction. its very bothering i have tried other analog phone still the same result. and i can imagine that while not talking the line that is connected both ends is cut and only restore if one end talks.

Only one of 16 FXS channels has analog phone connected and that is channel 9. However when i dial the channels without analog phone connected from other channel such as SIP phone it will ring. is this normal for analog phones in asterisk? how to check if there is no phone connected since it will ring without one?

whats wrong with this here?
here are my *.conf files

plese help thanks

You are saying that * dials a pri channel where there is no physical telephone attached to the POTS port on the channel bank?
in this case there is no real way. Neither the channel bank nor * can tell if there is a phone hooked up, all they can tell is that it’s not being answered.

ohhu!

What about the humming sound of analog phone connected to channel bank?
somebody know my situation?

hmmm is humming sound like a 60hz hum? could be a grounding issue with the channel bank or something shrug
