there seem to have been a few people (not here) noticing that SIP hints were not working properly/at all in the 1.2 releases of late.
oej (dev) posted some changes to 1.2, 1.4 and trunk to fix this (see lists.digium.com/pipermail/aster … 26190.html).
i’ve checked out tje svn 1.2 branch and it does allow my Aastra 480i to now show status of subscribed hints correctly instead of “Idle” for anything that isn’t “Unavailable”.
unfortunately it’s broken my RealTime Static setup as res_config_mysql fails to load and kills Asterisk, but a “noload =>” sorts that out while i investigate.
