Which stable version of Asterisk for Debian 11/12?

Hello, could you please recommend which bug-free version of Asterisk to use for Debian 11/12? Thank you for your feedback.

No version of Asterisk is “bug-free”. There’s always bugs. Current supported versions of Asterisk are documented on the docs site[1] including their lifespan and when they will go security fix only and end of life.

If software developers could be certain their code was bug-free there would be
no security updates or bug fix releases.

Asterisk is no different from any other software project - nobody can say that
the code is bug-free.

My recommendation is simply to use the latest Long-Term-Support version, which
is 22.7.0

detail.

Antony.
