wct4xxp not working after update to DAHDI 2.6 or newer

Hello,

I have an old server with openSUSE 11.4, kernel 3.0.something, Asterisk 11.11.0, DAHDI 2.5.1 and OpenVOX D210. Server is 5+ years old.

I need to change the server, so I got a new HP ProLiant, new OpenVOX DE410E card. Installed openSUSE 13.1, kernel 3.13, Asterisk 11.11, DAHDI 2.9 and started getting problems with PRI: unable to make/receive calls, spans going up/down, bad FCS messages, dahdi_test shows awful results, between 40 and 70%, wct4xxp generating ~80.000 interrupts per second…

So I downgraded everything to now working versions, and then began to upgrade one thing at a time and test.

Finaly found out that DAHDI 2.5.1 is last that works OK, 2.6.0 and everything newer has problem.

Downgrading to 2.5.1 solves all problems, PRI channels are UP, dahdi_test is at 99.99x.

The same happens with both D210 and DE410 cards.

Also tried with newer kernels and newer DAHDI, with no luck.

Does anybody have any idea?
If you need any other info, please ask…

Here is what Asterisk console displays:

Howdy,

Contact your hardware vendor.

Cheers

WOW!

That was very helpful, thank you :sarcasm:

I did not go to DIGIUM support asking help for other manufacturer’s card, but to ASTERISK forum asking help for a driver problem. I was hoping that someone would recognize the problem and possibly offer a solution, that is the way COMMUNITY works.

If you have nothing better to say then “go elsewhere” then, please, don’t help me.

Hello,
I had some trouble with Ubuntu 14.04, kernel 3.13, Asterisk 11.7, DAHDI 2.9 and OpenVOX D410E: dahdi_test 0.00%, 35.000 interrupts per second…

The solution was OpenVOX DAHDI version:
openvox.cn/pub/drivers/dahdi-linux-complete/.

So …. Contact your hardware vendor … is correct answer.

Best regards,
