Hi! My phones’ displays always say they have twice the number of voicemails as there are in their mailboxes. When I call up and use the voicemail utility, everything always works fine; just the count displayed is wrong. Any advice on how I can look into this issue?
Impossible to help you without knowing the model of the phone. Additionally, a firmware upgrade might help assuming this is a phone firmware bug.
As well a SIP log with the NOTIFY traffic would show what Asterisk is actually telling the device. If that is correct, then it would indeed point to the endpoint in question.
