Vega 50 fanless?

Hi all, I just got this vega 50 europa gaeway, (if this is not the right place to ask for it please let me know or point me to the right direction please)

I noticed that there is a fan vent on the chassis but there is no fan inside, is the fan optional ? or is just a fan-less design?

There’s only one screw hole in the picture. Any fan you put there would probably be unstable. Also this is not an Asterisk-related question.
