I’m looking for the documentation of the API of Web URLs.
When I set it to point to my system, I get a request and I’m looking for the documentation of the different fields sent from Asterisk as well as the expected response.
I’m not sure what API you are referring to. Can you provide an example of what you are referring to, or in more detail what you are trying to achieve? What are you setting?
Asterisk itself doesn’t have a webhook mechanism, which is what it seems like you are referring to.
On Number routing, I have “Ask web url” option
The web url is defined under Web URls
Is this an extension of a specific deployment and not a core Asterisk feature?
That’s not a feature of Asterisk. It’s something whatever this is has implemented.
It seems what you are looking at is a feature of Enswitch (https://demo.enswitch.com/#/features/urls/edit/?id=1). It’s custom code that Integrics built and you should contact their support or whomever is supplying you with the portal. If you want to just figure out what data is sent you can send it to a test server and log the variables.
Below is a URL to their docs. This is for a much older version however I believe the response they expect is the same Ask web URL destination type
