Unable to connect to Asterisk-GUI after login

When I try to login to the Asterisk-GUI (Asterisk1.4.0) with
192.168.1.100:8088/asterisk/stat … basic.html
I get:

Welcome to the Asterisk Configuration Engine
I can log in with my Username and Password :smiley:

After the login I get:

Unable to connect :angry:

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.100:8088
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy.
If you are unable to load any pages,check your computer’s network connection
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firerox is permitted to access the Web

Trying to login the second time with
192.168.1.100:8088/asterisk/stat … basic.html

Gives me the same error message

What am I doing wrong here :question:

I also discovered that after logging into the GUI, asterisk answers with

==Parsing ‘/etc/asterisk/manager.conf’ : Found
==HTTP Manager ‘admin’ logged on from 192.168.1.12
==Parsing ‘/etc/asterisk/extensions.conf’ : Found
==Parsing ‘/etc/asterisk/routes.conf’ : Found
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
asterisk:/usr/sbin #

and Asterisk stops.
:blush:

After completely removing asterisk and re-installing , the GUI started working :smiley:
