Type friend as proxy

i have a question,
i have asterisk with account configured as friend
how can i connect another asterisk to this account ?

i have tried type=peer,type=user and type=friend ,without success

look at registrar - it helps you to use Asterisk as client.

i’ve been searching long and i think all i need to know is “can asterisk act as sip client” ?

Yes, Asterisk can act as a sip client, see below, from the sample sip.conf:
