Hi… I am pretty pretty new on this, I want to apply the patch described in freepbx.org/trac/ticket/4608
and have no idea how to do it, do i copy the lines into a file? where in the asterisk box directory structure do I put the file? how to run it?

Short answer: man patch

Longer answer: change to the directory containing the php file and run patch with the patch as standard input.
