TE212P using OSLEC not Octastic echo cancelation

Hi,

I’ve just bought a TE212P and it looks like the card is using the OSLEC echo canceller and not the built in hardware one.

>>ztcfg -vv

Zaptel Version: 1.4.10
Echo Canceller: OSLEC
Configuration

SPAN 1: CCS/HDB3 Build-out: 0 db (CSU)/0-133 feet (DSX-1)

Channel map:

Channel 01: Clear channel (Default) (Slaves: 01)
Channel 02: Clear channel (Default) (Slaves: 02)
Channel 03: Clear channel (Default) (Slaves: 03)
Channel 04: Clear channel (Default) (Slaves: 04)
Channel 05: Clear channel (Default) (Slaves: 05)
Channel 06: Clear channel (Default) (Slaves: 06)
Channel 16: D-channel (Default) (Slaves: 16)

7 channels to configure.

Could anyone point me in the right direction.
I’ve searched these forums and nothing clear comes up.

Many thanks in advance,
Julian

UPDATE!

If I look at dmesg I see the following

SPAN 1: Primary Sync Source VPM400: Not Present VPM450: echo cancellation for 64 channels VPM450: hardware DTMF disabled. VPM450: Present and operational servicing 2 span(s) Completed startup!

SPAN 1: Primary Sync Source
VPM400: Not Present
VPM450: firmware zaptel-fw-oct6114-064.bin not available from userspace
Completed startup!

So it looks like perhaps a driver issue.

I am using the latest (1.4.10.1) zaptel compiled from source.

Sorry to keep replying to my own thread…

I had a look for that file and it looks like it’s there.
