I have a local asterisk 23.0.0-rc2 set up with four SIP phones, two are snom desktops, two are fanvil wall mount phones. There is an IAX trunk set up with a remote asterisk server.
All phones have the same setup in pjsip.conf (barring endpoint names and secrets ) and all phones have the same dialplan entries (barring extension numbers).
All phones can make calls between themselves via local asterisk fine.
However with both fanvil phones an incoming call onthe iax trunk will ring, but there’s no recognition of the handset being picked up at the far end. Local asterisk console shows the phone being bridged with the IAX trunk on pickup, but the far end just keeps showing “ringing”.
Both snom phones are fine with incoming IAX calls.
Can anyone suggest where I might start looking to diagnose this? Something must be up with the signalling I guess.
