Slin audio format details

Hi, I’m using audiosocket as external media through ARI. I have a problem with converting audio on my server so I have 2 questions:

  1. Does audio socket support any other audio format than slin?
  2. Does the audio format specified in external media apply to both inbound and outbound audio of audio socket?
  3. What is exact format of slin?
    a. sample rate - 8000
    b. sample size in bits - 16
    c. channels - 1
    d. encoding - pcm signed linear
    e. big / little endian - ?
