Asterisk does not support SIP-T or SIP-I as far as I know up to the current version. It will ignore (drop) the MIME part of the binary IAM message and continues the SIP routing. There is an experimental patch to handle SIP-T packets and decode some fields but it seems to be unstable.
Does anyone know of an alternative product (commercial or open source) that can route IAM data thru?
How about crafting a SIP-T/I message from a SIP message (I understand Dialogic has this supported in their IMG software)
How about routing based on IAM data (without getting messy using OpenSIPS and getting dirty with text grepping)?
