Hi, I have asterisk 16 installed on the centos 7.9 servers and need to hangup the call with sip response 410 but as per the asterisk cause mapping there is no cause code that matches with SIp response 412. How can we hangup the call with SIP Response 412.
I’ll take it that the majority wins and you mean 412. 412 is not a legal response to a call request (INVITE); it is only defined for PUBLISH.
To generate illegal and unusual SIP responses, you need to modify the Asterisk, and possibly PJSIP, source code. That’s really beyond the scope of this forum.
(I’m surprised that anyone actually would understand 410, either. I think it is a direct copy from HTTP, where it also isn’t used in practice.)
