[Resolved]Asterisk Auto Start after reboot

Hi,

I installed my new production asterisk on centos-5.1 and asterisk is not getting auto started after reboot.

I have the entry at /etc/rc.d/rc.local

[root@astpbx ~]# cat /etc/rc.d/rc.local
#!/bin/sh

This script will be executed after all the other init scripts.

You can put your own initialization stuff in here if you don’t

want to do the full Sys V style init stuff.

touch /var/lock/subsys/local
asterisk

can any suggest

Perhaps your pathing has an issue. Do a “which asterisk” from the shell and see what directory Asterisk is installed in, then change your script to include the path.

$ which asterisk
/usr/local/bin/asterisk

New script;
touch /var/lock/subsys/local
/usr/local/bin/asterisk
