Reading a video file and sending it to sip client

Hi all,

Can any one please help me? I want to read a video (h263) file from asterisk and send it to a sip client through sip channel. Is it possible? If yes how? What configurations do i need for it?

I shall be highly obliged if some one helps me?

firstly, cross-posting is rude and pointless.

secondly, you need to define a bit more clearly what it is you want to do. play a video to a sip client ? or “send” a video. what UA are you using ?

Hi,

I think you should think before what you write and refrain from using abusive language on the forum. Do not try to appear a rocket scientist or oversmart. Well, i want to send a video file from asterisk to a SIP client through SIP channel.

what ??? where was the abusive language ? and what would a rocket scientist be doing on the Asterisk forums ? you still need to define “send” and tell us what UA you’re using.

Hi,

Yes I want to play a video to a SIP client.

HI

I am not an expert of asterisk. Kindly define what “UA” means?

UA = User Agent = device talking to Asterisk

Hi

The device talking to asterisk is PC. I am using PC (Kphone) as SIP client.

I try to elaborate my problem a bit more.

Suppose i have a h263 encoded video file in asterisk can i playback this file to a SIP client. Is it possible?

Could you please solve my problem know?
