HI, guys. I working on a client setup using flyingvoice ip-phone set IP542N with asterisk v18.
Seems the SIP account registration not working 100% accurately, sometimes status showing registered OK and sometimes FAILED to register inside asterisk system.
also, Dial *43 for echo testing, not 100% working fine. Does anyone encounter these kind of issues ?

Seems the SIP account registration not working 100% accurately, sometimes
status showing registered OK and sometimes FAILED to register inside
asterisk system.
I suggest you do a SIP packet capture and examine it using sngrep or tshark to
find out what the different between successful registrations and failures is.
also, Dial *43 for echo testing, not 100% working fine.
“Not 100% working fine” is insufficient detail for us to speculate what’s
happening when it fails.
For this problem I recommend looking at verbose logs from Asterisk when is
doesn’t “work 100% fine”.
