Possible compatability issue

Have a real problem connecting an asterisk 1.8 install via digium te220 to a samsung ubigate ibg1004

although both are supposedly configured for pr1 e1 (euroisdn)
im getting really strange results on the console when i star or restart dahdi

(and trying to dial out)

it only recognises the one b channel eve though they are configured as I have many times before

it only allows one call to be placed at any one time any attemt to increace the volume of calls results in fail congestion etc

anyone got an eplanation

ive reinstalled asterisk libpri dahdi so many times i can do it in my sleep

when i put the isdn crossover cable into another digium card on another box it works perfectly
and
when i plug the ubigate gateway into an old e1 based nortel bcm50 i can place unlimited calls over that

anyone with any ideas - im really stuck

After installing the dahdi ,use the command dahdi_genconf
It will automatically detect the hardware and creates the conf files.
And execute the command dahdi_cfg -v
And include #include dahdi-channels.conf line in your /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf
