Yes.
Jokes apart, if you have only one SIM or in other words one incoming number/line you can only make one call at time(using that line of course, between internal devices unlimited calls).
Ok, thank you.
So what do I need, to be able to allow simultaneous calls; because I want to run an IVR, so, many calling numbers is not suitable, and waiting for long is not good also.
Thanks
Try using SIP Trunk or ISDN BRI or PRI.
I suspect the requestor is in a country with very little fixed telephony infrastructure and he is trying to run a business from home, or in a rural area.
Unfortunately, the hunt group needs to be implemented at the ISDN boundary, whether that is within his premises, within an ITSP, or within some sort of intelligent networks service (e…g as used for freephone numbers).
I suspect the best approach is to host the whole system remotely, at a location that does have good PSTN connectivity. Quite likely this will be as part of a system hosting other IVRs., rather than on equipment that he owns.
Hi,
Djanst, Apparently SIP truck can’t solve the problem. I have created many sip truck but when a call is comming, and the DID is already online, it ring busy.
To use BRI or PRI, I must change my gateway because which I have (Neogate TG100) do not allow that.
David55, your suspicions are correct in half. I’m in a country with very little fixed telephony infrastructure, but I’m trying to run a IVR for a research center in health. We’re trying to fight maternal mortality using free software.
I’m a newbie in telephony area and what I’m looking for is a better way to launch an IVR with my Neogate TG100 or TG800. The location where the system is, has a good PSTN connectivity. Do I need to contract with the mobile operator for that?

There is a difference between a SIP Trunk and SIP Account. And there is no such think as SIP Truck.
Use the right service and you will be successful.
Hi all,
Finally, we changed the approach. We took a T2 line from our provider and green number to allow user calls.
