It’s my hope that the patch is accepted and included in the next Asterisk distribution. It’s very much a “for want of a nail the war was lost” sort of thing for a Cisco UCM-to-Asterisk/FreePBX conversion since it affects both the Enterprise firmware loads and the 3PCC firmware loads on the Cisco CP-8845 - and by extension, I would guess it also affects the PhoneOS loads on the newer CP-8875’s.
