Music on hold does not start at the beginning the mp3

Hi Everyone,

Im using music on hold but the music dosn’t start from the beginning of the mp3 file. How can I make sure it starts at the beginning of the song. (I use it in meetme application)

If you hang up and call back, the music starts where it left off, not at the beginning. This is an efficiency measure in Asterisk, as it’s much less computationally expensive to produce one music stream shared between all callers, rather than a separate stream for each new call.

stop Your asterisk do:
ps aux
start asterisk and do:
ps aux
You should see processes started that will play files specified in musiconhold.conf clases and produce music in stream.
in my opinion there is no way to make a moh starting from the beginning every time a call needs moh.
