What does your other research indicate might be the reason you see three INVITEs in there?

, maybe the first INVITE is not accepted because of 401. I just would like to know why there are 3 INVITE requests.
What they mean is that you need to find the answer for yourself if you are going to learn. https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3261.txt should explain the first two. Whilst there isn’t enough in your logs ot be absolutely certain, I think the third one may be trivially obvious.
