I am running Asterisk 1.02 (old i know) and it has successfully been connected to a MS SQL 2005 server for a number of years gathering data. as the old SQL server is ready for decomissioning. I have moved the database over to a SQL 2008 instance and updated cdr_odbc.conf and the freetds.conf to point to the new server. I have tested the connection from the shell using tsql -S PBX -U username and it will connect. but when I reload the asterisk config I get an error stating that it cannot connect. I am a bit stuck here now so any ideas would be appreciated.
