Moh source from sound card

I finally got my old ISA FM tuner card working on this old FreeBSD box. It’s great. Was not as hard as I thought it would be and I patched it into my soundcard with an audio cable so I don’t have to switch the setup around when I want to listen to xmms or something else to play mp3 files. All is well and I’m happily listening to all the local FM stations around Miami while I hack at more asterisk and Xorg stuff.

What I’d like to do now is to use the soundcard as the source for my moh for *-1.4.10. I found a short article on this at:

voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?pag … nhold.conf

but as usual, this is from and for the Linux community as it uses a program called arecord which I think I can find but don’t really want to use anything outside of the ports collection for now.

Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup? I’d be curious how to get it done on FreeBSD.
