Missing AMPUSER/num/device entries in astdb.sqlite3

I noticed that the AMPUSER/num/device entries are missing in the astdb.sqlite3 database. Running the fwconsole reload command does not resolve the issue. I run the command when the /var/lib/asterisk/astdb.sqlite3 file exists.

How can I rebuild this database?

Example:
CLI> database show AMPUSER/4950/device
0 result found

Please tell us:

a) which version of Asterisk you are running

b) whether this was installed as a pure Asterisk system, or as part of
something such as FreePBX, Issabel, Trixbox…

I am using Asterisk 20.6 from the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS repository and FreePBX 17.

In that case I recommend that you ask the FreePBX people who built this system
around Asterisk and defined the configuration for it.

They’re at https://community.freepbx.org

I created a topic on the FreePBX forum, but I still haven’t received any response.

That’s disappointing.

Asterisk is like the engine of a car. FreePBX took that engine (quite legally
and rightfully; I’m not trying to suggest anything else) and built a chassis
around it and gave it a dashboard.

The database you’re talking about is a component part of Asterisk (for an
analogy, consider it to be a heat exchanger). We don’t know what FreePBX is
doing with that database (= we don’t know how the heating and air conditioning
controls work in the car this engine got built into).

So, sorry, but I think it’s unlikely that anyone here can tell you what
FreePBX did with AMPUSER/num/device entries in astdb.

Antony.
