The music on hold and the voice quality when inside a meetme room is extremely bad on our asterisk 1.4 installation when accessed over a PRI trunk. Normal phone calls are fine. I thought its probably a timing issue but I just can’t figure out how to solve it. Our other asterisk machine uses the same configuration without any issues. Can someone please please please point me in the right direction?
We use a digium wildcard TE220 with 2 E1 spans which I presume controls the timing but I’m not sure how to check.

I’ve run dahdi_test and couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary.
When playing back the streams recorded using dahdi_monitor the quality is almost equally bad.
