Maximum retries @ 127.0.0.1 - How is this possible?

Get constant console feedback messages:

[May 18 16:41:42] WARNING[2450] chan_sip.c: Maximum retries exceeded on transmission 7816584e060f782b1d86ba8954e66234@127.0.0.1 for seqno 112 (Critical Request) – See doc/sip-retransmit.txt.

Does anyone recognize this or can advice what / where to troubleshoot ? Thanks.

Im not an expert but it makes me feel like something is wrong with your sip.conf? Can you post that configuration? Has this recently happened or has it always been a problem on this server? How long has the server been up?

Your sip config is a bit more complicated than mine. :smile: Maybe backup your sip.conf and create a really basic one with a single extension registered, see if you still receive the error.

Sip.conf

[general]
context=default
allowoverlap=no
blindport=5060
bindaddr=0.0.0.0

[6601]
type=friend
context=default
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
mailbox=6601@default
host=dynamic
username=6601

canreinvite=no

Good idea! I will strip this down to basic and add stuff back onto it until the error presents itself again.
