Logging call data during a call


I’ve managed to get CDR working with MSSQL using ODBC, but I noticed the data is transported to the DB when the call is finished. I was wondering if there is a way, using CDR, to write data to a DB during a call? For example, write the time the call was answered to the DB.



I think not. If you want to keep track of the calls on your PBX, use Asterisk AMI.

Surely CEL should do this with a more call logging specific subset of events, than AMI?
