Keeping track of security updates

Hi,

Is there a way to keep track of Asterisk security updates?

There is an issue that has been dormant since 2018 where an rss feed is requested

I do not agree on the minor prioritization on the task since this is for many teams very important to keep track of.

There’s a list here Security Advisories ⋆ Asterisk but do I really have to build a web scraper to get notifications on important updates? Is there an email list for this?

If you just want security advisories, they are administered through Github. You can subscribe to receive just those by going to the Github page[1] and clicking “Watch”, “Custom”, and selecting “Security alerts”.

For security related releases which include links you can subscribe to the asterisk-dev mailing list[2], subscribe to the news category on here, or subscribe on Github by choosing “Releases”.
