IAX not reachable but SIP reachable

why would iax2 not be reachable to the from the same server to the same server in which SIP is reachable?

control with netstat if your iax udp port is open or in the firewall(if you have one)

okay the strange thing ive noticed, is:

Server A is registering sip to Server B
Server A is NOT registering iax to Server B

Server C is registering sip to Server B
Server C is registering iax to Server B

Server C is registering sip to Server A
Server C is registering iax to Server A

so theres a problem only with Server A registering iax with server B! this is so weird…

Check the IAX account settings on A Server (password, ip…)

please check the service port.
if you can use ethereal, you could see if the server response any packet. Or you could debug on asterisk.

is okay turned out QoS on the firewall wasnt working correctly, once i disabled QoS it worked
