How to set HINT for paging/intercom extention?

I was wondering if there is a way to get the hint line to work with the paging extention like it will with other phone extentions to get the BLF to work and show when its comming accross the paging extention?

Anyone have an ideal there?

I tried to add the line as follows to extensions_additional.conf

exten => ###,hint,###
and

exten => ###,hint,sip/###

and adding the watch in the phone, it causes the light to light up as soon as you reboot, and stay on constantly.
as well, you cant use it to dial the page group. nothing happens when you press the button.
