How to change the DTMF payload type in asterisk

Please explain.

dtmfmode controls whether it is sent as RTP telephony events packets, as SIP INFO requests, or as encoded audio using the main audio codec.

Payload type to be used for RTP telephone events

Fixed at “telephone-event” as required by the RFC.

Did you mean the codec number? There was a recent bug about its being too fixed (at 101), but there is no standards requirement for any particular value, so no need to make it configurable.

Yes I mean the codec number
If it’s not configurable, Are there at least a command which display the codec number?

The mapping is included ni the SDP, and therefore visible if SIP debugging is enabled. I can’t think of any reason why it would be important to expose it at the user interface. Tools, like wireshark, will identify it using the SDP.
