How does -rrrrr differ from -r?

The answer to the main question is to set the verbosity to less than about three, using core set verbose, or for a more permanent fix, turn it down in /etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf (assuming the standard, source build, directory).

However, I find that having that level of verbosity is almost essential if anything goes wrong.

Note v’s on the command line used to start asterisk will also increment verbosity.

thanks david very much , i did it
