Global variable access in AGI, how?

Hi there,

Can someone tell me how one sets and accesses global variables from within an AGI script. I was only able to create channel variables. Can we set global variables in an AGI script?

Yes please tell what manner you are using to use AGI (Perl , PHP , etc…)

I use PHPAGI. Setting global variables does not work it seems. Using Asterisk 1.8. Asterisk documentation is not clear about global variables from AGI script.
