I am upgrading a system to asterisk 11 that is currently running asterisk 1.4. The system currently utilizes cmd mysql within dialplan to communicate with database.
Fist off is cmd mysql still an active command in asterisk 11?
More importantly, is one of these methods considered better then the other?
Any general thoughts about one or the other?
