Our company has a bunch of VOIP customers. We are trying to setup where all faxes received go out via email.
Each of our customers have there own extensions.conf file. We want to setup a macro in the extensions.conf file under the asterisk root folder. We then want to call the macro under each customers exensions.conf file where an email address is passed in as as a variable to the macro. Then the macro receives a fax and then sends it out via email (which is the variable passed in).
A- Does this make sense and B- Has anyone done this and can help us?
