Extension number added from freepbx,but 403 forbidden

Hi all,
I have a asterisk working already which was built by the former admin.
I want to add a new extension.I created a number for my grandscream trough freePBX. and the grandscream can get the extension number from the asterisk and showed it on screen. but it showed ‘not registered’ once I picked up the headphone. and showed ‘403 forbidden’ while I dail to the other extension.
I am just wondering, why it showes ‘not register’ while it got the extension number from asterisk. I mean it can get the number from asterisk,it already got registered,otherwise it can not get the number.

any hint / adversory would be very appreciated.

you want to add the extensions in extension.conf of ur asterisk and if its a sip extension,u want to add in the sip.conf of ur phone extension also.

you mean it is not enough that adding extension in freePBX.
I have to edit the sip.conf and extension.conf seperately, right?
