Errors with chan_sip.c

Hi everybody…

My asterisk CLI says WARNING[27616]: chan_sip.c:6478 determine_firstline_parts: Bad request protocol Packet

Do you know why? :frowning:

What can I do to fix that :question: (I’ve got a warning on my cli… every 3 seconds…)

It may not up to you to fix. You need to ask yourself: What’s your application? Who’s making connections? Are these devices any good? Is the network in good condition? If you really want to chase the problem, you’ll have to turn on sip debug and read through all messages. Sometimes that’s not enough (as the message suggests that it may not even be SIP), then you’ll have to turn on a sniffer and sniff through all packets.
