DO I need a stun server?

Hi

My asterisks server has a public IP (not using NAT)

buy, some of my cliens are behaind NAT (ip phones)

Do I have to set a stun server on the sip settings in the server?
is it enough to set a stun server only on the sip client (ip phohne) ?

If you use the NAT settings available in Asterisk for remote clients and the NAT device allows symmetric RTP to work then you shouldn’t need a STUN server setup in the client.
