hello

how can i convert a swiss local number like 0314443344 to its international form 0041314443344 so that i only need to type the shortened version ?

Hi,

so to prepend numbers to your dialled number, do this (just replace ZAP/g1 with correct Technology and channel)

exten => _X.,1,Dial(ZAP/g1/0041${EXTEN})

So if you dialled 314443344, Asterisk will actually dial 0041314443344

But, with exten => _X.,1,Dial(ZAP/g1/0041${EXTEN:1})

if you dial 0314443344, Asterisk will actually dial 0041314443344
