Dial application

Hi:
I have an E1 link that it is Dial in only(it isn’t dial out).Can I use Dial() application in asterisk?
I appreciate any help.

No, you can’t use Dial() to dial out onto the E1 line.

Bruni,
Why can’t he us dial to make a call on an E1 ? I use Exten => _X.,1,Dial(ZAP/G1/${EXTEN})

Well, perhaps I have to be more detailed:

he can’t use Dial because his E1 line is dial in only and so he can’t dial out on this line, so this depends on his line and has nothing to do with Dial().

Ah I missed that.

if you call to sip, it is no limit. but I think you want to call to E1.
