Configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fail

noob here,

after running "#make install"
I keep getting prompted to run “./configure”.
I see toward the end of the ./configure run there is a C++ error.
Am I missing a package?
I’m running the latest Feitsy (Ubuntu - Debian)
If someone could please glance over the enclosed output of my "./configure"
and give me some direction - I’d be ‘much obliged’.

Thanks, noob

Found the fix:
apt-get install g++

…was too late to delete post, but maybe it’ll help someone else later.
