Check which codec used

I have connected two asterisk system by iax trunk. how can i check the whick codec the call is using by iax channel an trunk? I would like to calculate the bandwith be used.

then look for the NativeFormat, WriteFormat and ReadFormat information. once you have this you can use [code]CLI> show codecs[/code] to get the info for the codecs indicated in the first lot of output.

No “show channel iax” command be found. I use “iax2 show channels”. Below is the output. But no any format found.
