Hello. Is it possible to create a chat application on top of Asterisk? For example, given that there is an Asterisk server, and there are computers registered in the Asterisk server, could the users communicate through text-based chat (like IRC) application programmed in Java? Each computer would be identified by their extension number.
Only User Agents like SIP/ZAP/IAX devices or other asterisk server are registered on asterisk servers.
