chan_ss7 | Call failed to go through, reason (3) Remote end

Dear All,

I am trying to launch calls using call files in /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing. Asterisk picks up the call file appropriately and begins placing the call.

And in and getting “Call failed to go through, reason (3) Remote end Ringing” just after ACM, please help me out.

This forum isn’t supported by Sangoma people.

Looks to me as though the call rang out, i.e. no-one answered within the allowed time.

i had tested so many time and didn’t get single ringing on any cell phone…

please help me out,


YOu need to contact Sangoma and/or your network operator. In the latter case it may be that you are provdiing the dialed number in the wrong format and they are sending back Alerting before validating it.
