Can anyone tell me whether Asterisk with one of the Digium E1 cards can emulate the Central Office (CO) side?
It is our intention to connect E1 telephony equipment (can be compared with an ISDN PRI capable PABX) to a Asterisk system. I know that this is the just the opposite of about every other application, but it is useful in our case to test the functionality of the E1 telephony equipment without ordering a E1 line.
