We are currently experiencing issues with calls dropping. Calls are routing out via a Digium TE412P card to an E&M wink T1. Currently running Asterisk 1.4.22 with DAHDI 2.1.0 and DAHDI tools 2.1.0. The only thing I’m seeing in the Asterisk messages file when a call drops is:
WARNING[15410] chan_dahdi.c: getdtmf on channel 1: Success
The channel number is variable.
We’ve had this problem in the past, but it seems a lot more prevalent since switching to Asterisk 1.4.22 and DAHDI 2.1.0. Unfortunately I can’t downgrade because there are problems with getting a transcoder card working on older releases.
The line for our outbound T1 in /etc/dahdi/system.conf:
span=1,2,0,d4,ami
e&m=1-24
And chan_dahdi.conf:
[channels]
context=dahdi-in
switchtype=national
pridialplan=national
usecallerid=yes
callwaiting=yes
callwaitingcallerid=yes
threewaycalling=yes
transfer=yes
cancallforward=yes
echocancel=yes

txgain=0.0

channel => 1-24
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I did some web searching but didn’t find much related to call drops and “getdtmf” messages in the log files.
